Smile New to the forum and to Impreza's

Hi all,

New to the forum today thought I'd post to say ello

Bought a 1998 turbo 2000 in white about a month ago

Just today I've been busy (with a little help from the mrs) I've put some decals on it. Let me know what you think?

Few things about the car:

It's a 1998 Turbo 2000 uk car obviously lol
18" Oz 5 spoke wheels in black
The car has a straight through 2.5" exhaust with a P1 back box ( sounds nice)
Well lane dump valve
Turbo timer
Induction kit
there is some more bits but can't think of the top of my head lol

Anyways, I will look forward to the banter
cheers peeps
Gav

Thanks mate,

I thought I'd go a bit different to the 'norm' for a change. I like it just breaks up all the whiteness lol.

Not sure what i'm going to do with it yet just enjoying it at the moment

A real nice classic, as they say decals are a bit marmite on here but if you like them then hey it your motor at the end of the day.

Remember its easier to remove a decal that you dont like than a roof vent that you cant !!!

I would have spent my money on something other than stickers personally - it looked tidy without them

Thanks it is tidy without them but wanted to have something different, besides they only cost me 20 quid! lol . I mean c'mon their aren't many car's that can pull off having stickers on.

I've never fitted them to any other car before because imo they look pants, I mean we've all seen the corsa's and Saxo's with a wish list down the door and some s*** tribal graphic whacked on the side lol. However, Subaru's seem look cool when done properly and tastefully

Nice motor Gav I don't mind the stickers "BUT" it looked alot better without em in my humble opinion.
Why don't you give monster a ring and see if they want to pay you for advertising their product.

I like it
However, remember this,
My car has stickers, and is very easy to spot.
One day on the way to work, I was a little late so was motoring a little, not stupid speeds, but was slightly over the limit.

A cop car came the other way, and I saw him turn round in my rear view mirror, luckily for me the lights were in my favour and I never saw him again......

Until the following day, when the same copper pulled me on my way to work again, pulled me and let me know he had seen me the day before, told me to watch myself and that I couldn't hide in a car that was obviously easy to spot

Nice copper though, but due to talking crap about cars with him for half an hour I ended up late for work again

Have fun, but beware

Steve you must of been well over the limit for a cop in an oncoming car to know you where speeding.

No mate, I live in north Wales, they just know.
I drive for a living so never drive like a fool, I was probably 10 over in a 50, but it's a usual spot where they sit

Yeah Steve this did cross my mind. Tbh, the car is white and stands out anyway, I haven't seen another white one round here or on my travels to work so, if I found myself in that position with or without transfers probably wouldn't make that much difference lol. Beside's i'm like you in the sense that I drive for a living, so I drive at 52-56mph and tend to do these speeds most of the time
Don't get me wrong, i've had the occasional need to clear the cobwebs out though hahaha.
