Default Cleaned the intercooler and a few other jobs

I spent my saturday afternoon removing and cleaning my top mount, and im impressed with the results while i was there i also painted a few parts to get rid of the rust, chipping paint

Now this part im unsure on, have i made i got abit mad with the metal polish? Haha

While everything was off i replaced the horrid rusty hose clips/pipe ties for the brake vacuum pipe

It'll be easier to keep gleaming now all the baked on dirt is off. How much work is involved in taking it off ? The paint on the main body of mine is bubbled but i am a wuss when it come to engines ! Dont mine taking things off and on , its when fluids are involed i run away.

big thanks for the heads up on using that stuff mate appreciate it!!

Trust me it was a breeze!!! you have two 12mm bolts either side, three 8mm bolts for the throttle body-intercooler pipe, and intercooler-turbo pipe the red 1 under the cooler you can see for above, the black tubes running acorss the intercooler have 3 pipe going into it just pull the pipe out there only oil vapour, once all that is off you can either leave the dump valve or recalculation valve in place just undo the 2 pipes going to it or what i did and remove the two 12mm bolts holding it to the intercooler much easier as space is a lil tight! now comes the remvoal! you have to hold it and push it up to free the throttlebody hose then move it to the right to free the turbo hose and hey presto! 5 mins work
