Default Movie: Subaru Impreza STI Type R - Weekend fun

This weekend the weather was perfect. Sunny and perfect temperature. So I handed over the car to The Stigs Swedish cuisine and he took the car for a drive.

VIMEO - Subaru Impreza STI Type R - Weekend fun

Driver: The Stig's Swedish cousin
Car: Subaru Impreza STI Type R v5
Power: 327hp/406nm
0-100: 4 seconds
Top Speed: 270km/h

The Stig's Swedish cuisine said that the car handles very good and has a lot more to give. He said he wasn't at full attack driving on the twisty roads.

I was on my own so I couldn't shoot any rolling video with the dslr. Otherwise there would be more of the intro type of shoots.

Thumbs down

Well produced video and good looking car... but

On the public roads !!.. serously epic fail.

Driving like that on public road gives the rest of us a bad name..
too many idiots driving cars they shouldnt be allowed near, creatiing videos like this on public road is only ego stroking and encourages others to do equally daft and dangerous driving.

track time in Sweden is not expensive, if you wana drive like that, go to a track.
Saying, oh year it was 07:00 am, still no excuse. I thought the same years ago when I was driving through the sticks V early one morning to get to Botniaring. Went round a slight bend ti find a little old woman walking out from woods been berry picking, evasive move scared the **** outa me, dunno what she thought.

sorry to spoil the mood, but it has to be said.

Vik

Well there is good vision in most of the corners and in blind corners The Stig's Swedish cuisine is taking it easy. The car could go a lot faster on those roads The Stig's Swedish cuisine is not near full attack.

On the straits there is just traffic on the other side and they are dual lane.

So I don't think is so bad. Search YouTube for Ghost Rider and you'll find stupid driving.

Yes they work perfect for onboard footage/sound. The sound from the Go pro's sucks. Just a lot of wind noise.

Where do you think ? Where on a car is there the lowest amount of wind??

On the boot lid, or just the back of the car as far away from the exhaust as possible. It's to loud to have it close
