Nice looking wagon.

Have you had it long? Are the calipers painted gold?

Does the drop make the ride any worse and does it improve handling or is it more for aesthetics... which if it is it certainly looks good.

I like the white/non orange indicators and side repeaters, was this a difficult job?

Thanks for the comments folks, glad you like.

Firstly yes the calipers are gold, i'm not too keen on the colour and will probably re do them in the tradition chav racer red

I would say yes there is a noticable difference in handling, not so much body roll. but i did manage to screw up the front right camber bolt adjusment so need to tweek it tomorrow.

Its not a hard job, you just need to be careful with the spring compressors and remember to break off the top mount nuts whilst still on the car as its a biatch to break em off when off. If you were talking about the side repeaters i have no idea.. came like it

I have had it a few months but have only been driving it for about 6 weeks as we had to swap the block, i also found that i have some solid metal gold drop link jobbies on the rear also... i like finding fancy bits on my cars.

WOW awesome !

it looks cleaner in your pics! it now needs a new bonnet as its chipped and dented on the nose and some clown dented the rear quater when the engine gave up....but i am slowly getting it up to scratch! what mods did you do to it during your ownership?

I fitted the wheels, it had fog light covers at one point. Front and rear strut braces. Bigger bonnet scoop to go with the sti intercooler i fitted. Full after burner vortex straight through exhaust system with no cats. New fuel pump and then an Andy Forrest remap.

The only thing i see different is the mid level boot spoiler.

Ah ok so it does have a remap then.... It has all that still fitted ... Still have the fog covers . Plus it has a full defi genome set up, uprated rear drop links and now the springs. It also has an eclipse motorsport intake pipe and green cotton air filter along with a larger up pipe. . Do you have any idea of what kind of power it was making whilst you had it? I had it dyno'd and it only made 187.... But found it had a massive split in the inlet pipe.which stopped it going past 5500 rpm .. All sorted now so needs a new dyne. This was all after we swapped the dead block, it looked as it it has been running lean.

Yeah the defi's, filter drop links were me as well.
It had a twin boost map. High and low but I can't mind what they were set at. Something like 1.3 and 0.9

Double press the rear demister button will you have the car on full throttle. Best to do this in a higher gear.

I just took it up the road and no joy.... It's boosting at around 0.9 like you said. I pressed the rear de mister in a high gear like you said but still at 0.9 . Does the light on the switch have to be on?

Can I just confirm that when you say de mister you mean heated rear screen? Ie button on the left of the centre console.

And you say it has to be wide open throttle in high gear.
