White looks good on blue

What is it, the tyres or rims that make the rims proud of the tyre? Usually it's the other way around for kurbing protection

It's the 'stretch' on the tyres. To achieve the concave look on the rims the wheels are wider than the standard fitment. The tyres are kept to a standard width (so not to foul the arches) then stretched to fit the rim. this results in the rim sticking out. It's probably also the reason why the car is so far away from the kerb (even though it's dropped) as that's how I would be parking it next to any kerb.

Choice of wheel I'd go for too, look lovely.

Have you a pic from the rear straight on, so as to see the wheels poking out?
Its a fine line with suspension settings to get them running with no rubbing I think.

With the stretched look is fast road driving not the thing to be doing, witht he rims sticking out so much?
I'd really want 235 or 245 tyres on, but then the archs would need lots of pulling/rolling wouldn they?

So how do you solve the rubbing when even running 225's?
Raise the ride height, more camber, fold & pull the archs?

Does it now make the car a cruiser and less of a country road to rocket?

With the right set up they handle just fine on country roads
