Default Picture request- Single gauge pod fitted to drivers side dash

As above, I am toying with locations of where to fit my new gauge.

I have discounted the clock area (only have 1 gauge) and A pillar (not keen on that look)

I am also considering a single dash pod tucked in the drivers side of the dashboard (aswell as in the air vent). I would be interested to see who is running this setup & how it looks.

Thanks

Hi

I am also looking at fitting a single gauge to MY00. I am searching for a good looking one, I don’t like the A pillar types.

Found this one:-

Don’t like the screw fitting.

This one looks better, but not going to pay over £50 for it

I am sure I have seen one that fits in the right-hand corner of the windscreen, but I can’t find any yet.

Is there any body that can help?

Im now in similar position after just buying the Depo 4in1 gauge. May put into drivers side vent but thats almost hidden by the steering wheel & arm while driving. Rather have it more in my eyeline, either on dash somewhere or on steering column. A few fitment ideas but not sure on placement yet.

Or below I prefer this to A pillar pods

The first and last look a bit ropey in terms of fitment. The autobahn one doesn't look too bad if fitted properly; Jura used to have them before we fitted his A-pillar.

Other option could be one like this

Too expensive and Iv only got 1 gauge!

Your right John, how will those pods be fitted, - black silicone sealant or something?
Il have to offer it up around the dash area and see where it looks / fits best and then accordingly look for a suitable pod.
