It is an ugly duckling but is still strangely alluring. Rare as hens teeth as well, nice find

However I can honestly say that this is the best Classic I have ever driven or owned (including the 22b)

I don't know matey,but looking little bit like Subaru at those best times went with chav style,agreed is not the best looking classic,but i like it

To be fair it looks a minter
.....but, if someone was to post their car with an aftermarket bodykit that resembled the kit of the S201 they would get ripped apart on this board...
By the blue seats and blue centre console parts i guess its based on a Limited?

what are the factory mechanical mods on the s201 over a normal sti (bodywork apart)as the link is in japanese,
very rare beast though! not to everyones taste but something different.

Nice to be rare, but the s201 has never been the best looking car but that was never the STi design brief - it was designed to be the best Impreza at the time.

Love them. But the only reason I could never own one is the fact that every other road user, (who's not in the know), would be looking at you thinking, "look what that idiots done to that Subaru". When really they've just seen a piece of history.
Cracking car tho mate. One of my favourite scoobys. Alongside the uk300.
