I used to think they looked horrendous, but the more I see them now the more I like them and your one looks a minter.

I think you have to look past the body kit to understand what this car is about. The suspension & engine upgrades over other classics are what makes it great. Yes, STI went a bit crazy with the styling but it's great to see a low mileage ltd edition example in good hands. Nice car.

Really not my cup of tea but what a beautiful example of this ultra rare beast. Who knows, one day this might be worth a fortune !
Worth sticking away under a sheet and forgetting about.

Great find and well done for having the ***** to buy one, keep it as standard as you can.

Saw one in Wednesbury when I was looking for a Type R last year, not the worst looking Subaru imo! Certainly is an acquired taste H

Definitely a marmite car but a bit of history nonetheless.

Love it.....agree some 17" Electra or rays would suit it better...would be nice to see it on www.type-ra.co.uk seeming as running gear and some parts where taken from sti ra limited.....it would be welcome on the register also...

(apart from the breaker\salvage at Jap performance parts)

I always think the S201 would look slightly better if the body parts actually matched the rest of the car, maybe they wouldn't stand out as much? The grey on silver doesn't work for me, why didn't they just make it all silver!

Personally I couldn't drive an S201 for fear of humiliation (and I drive an M3!) but that has to be a future classic! How many S201's were made and how many are there in the UK?

I think they may really be an ugly duckling that eventually comes good and that looks very clean! 2K miles per annum pah, my Cosworth used to cover 800 miles max between MOT's

Enjoy the S201 Hitesh
