Wasn't your RA running Compomotive wheels and totally bare without bodykit or spoiler? Did you add these on recently?

Thanks... yes all done myself over a week end apart fron painting the alternator. All needed in my case was a length of 12mm and 8mm coolant hose to move the coolant reservoir. other stuff like parallel fuel rails already done and I had another manifold modified and painted ready to go on. All hoses and pipework bought from ASH (auto silicone hoses)

Thanks, I'll give them a go as that's a very neat install there, mine is still in the early stages

i used an alloy bracket off a car with aircon, drilled it and stuck a bolt through it, fabricated a foot for an adjuster and mounted the alternator on the other side of the bracket upside down. the belt is far longer than standard and needed a tdi golf timing belt idler pulley bolted to the front of the alternator bracket to divert the belt away from the i/c pipe... works fine

I've got a spare Ph 1.5 manifold that I'm planning on doing the same with.

Higher res pics the better if you have more, that you're willing to share.
