New Member - Boost...finally!
Hi there, just moved from Scotland down to Essex. Just purchased my first turbo impreza, I had a 2.0l sport for 3 years and a couple of cars since, now im as happy as a pig in s**t.
I've an extensive list of mods i'll be doing in my ownership, but at no expense I've already done my first..... albeit only a sunstrip.
I'm really impressed with the mpg so far, I didn't expect to get 400 miles with a packed car on 1 and 1/4 tank of v-power. ...with the occasional play with a focus st and cooper S.
Anyway, apologies for the poor iphone pics, bog standard WRX at the end of the day.

Thanks for the welcome.
I'm pretty impressed with the performance, already used to the 100bhp jump from my last Car but it's a completely different beast in the corners, forgot how great these were! I'd have looked at an STI but the insurance had plenty to say about that, so maybe in the next couple of years

True, especially with AWD to get the power down without dramatics etc. they can be much more progressive than the FWD hot hatches in everyday conditions, especially the wet! Not sure you'll get quite as much rain in Essex as you did up here tho Nice car, enjoy

I did a fair bit to my sport when I had it, mainly bodywork though, some of the blobs here are just immense!
Thanks, I feel it's a decent purchase, cars pretty clean all round, and got a years warranty from Subaru which ain't bad...not that it'll be useful from what Ive read lol!
