Default My Grey Blob

Hiya thought id share a few pics since its now been in for paint.

I bought this car in November and absoluuuuutely love it , this is my 3rd Impreza.

The colour is a Mercedes grey it was in for paint a couple of weeks ago and near had a heart attack when i got a phone call saying the paint was £93 for 1/2 a litre So anyway it was a decision between keeping this colour or going for white BUT so many people told me to roll with this as its totally sparkly in the sunlight and looks immense although no doubt it wont be seen in the pics.

It's got an Afterburner Vortex backbox "1st thing i ordered" and a fancy downpipe , im looking to buy a non resinated centre pipe for it next as i loooove the burble !
Bought a set of XXR's off Keith at Revolution a couple of weeks ago and was planning putting them fluorescent green but would love some feedback on colour choice as my hearts not 100% on it "quite fancy white also"
Coilovers are being ordered next week and im waiting to hear about a rollcage for her

Anyway ill stop rabbiting on and get on with the pictorials any feedback good ro bad is very much appreciated

Got these badboys sitting waiting , bought tyres this morning so just waiting on them to arrive then when my coilovers arrive its game on !!

Any suggestions on wheel colour to suit the car ? im not into the whole stealthy dark thing i was fancying fluorescent green or white but im open to suggestions

I agree with the above but on GT5 i built a blob in almost the same grey and out of boredom i put on some orange wheels. Looks the nuts. Too loud for me but i like my cars as close to standard as poss.

Totally correct severely needs decking it shall be in a few weeks doing the coilys n wheels in one sitting when my mate gets back onshore , The golds just not as in your face as I'd like although the stance could make up for it as they are wide bertha's I'll slap em on gold for starters and see what I think , Orange sounds gooooood I used to have a bright orange van so it would tie in with that nicely

Thanks for the feedback , it's appreciated

Hi, car looking good mate!

Just need the XXRs fitted. Post some pics up once they're on.

Thanks

love the colour

really like the loud wheels idea, green or orange would be cool, but you then need some other little touches of colour here and there, some stickers/mirror covers you know......

can always re-colour the wheels black to fit in

Almost anything that contrasts with the grey will look good. What about bright red, same as the calipers?

Look forward to seeing the wheels fitted and the ride height slammed. How much did the respray cost out of interest?
