well after getting stitched with a my95 wrx and it costing the earth for her to insure i found this on ebay minus engine and collected for 550, i then bought a engine that had had piston ring failure and rebuilt, just a standard rebuild and she just covered 2000 miles since so fingers crossed she'll be fine. heres couple of pics.


she needs new rims as two have slight buckle and want to lower it about 25mm not too much as its her daily.

 

change the rims mate and ya got a nice car there for the money !

What did the engine cost and any history ?

 

i paid 200 quid for engine and rebuilt myself for around 500 in parts. shows 64000 on clocks but not sure if that true

Not bad for the price, will look good once you've lowered her and some anthracite newage WRX wheels will suit it really well - seen it done before and it'll be cheap in keeping with the current theme
