Default Classic and Bug at Scoobyworld

Went to the Midland Scoobies open day at Scoobyworld today in my classicfor a dyno run and health check. The car was mapped 2 years ago by Zen and since then i've had to replace the engine and turbo. The up-pipe was also blowing a little and the fuelling is all over the place but I'm happy with the results

305bhp @ 6450rpm & 300 lb/ft @ 4875rpm

Then my friend Emma ran her Bugeye on the dyno for the 1st time since buying it in August. Its got a de-cat exhaust, panel filter, walbro pump and 3 port solenoid then was remapped by Dunc at Racedynamix. Not quite the results we'd hoped for but soon learnt that running/mapping a scooby on 95RON doesnt yield the best results

233bhp and 264 lb/ft

Emma will be filling up with Tescos 99 or V power from now on and we'll add a different turbo at a later date

Was a good day and £35 well spent (club rate). Gives me something to work with now but the main thing is that mine is running healthy with no det!

VERY nice looking Classic that mate! (Bug's ok too!)
What are they like at ScoobyWorld/Worx? I'm considering taking mine there for a service & MOT.

Yeah good mate, friendly people, know their stuff. Its a small place so they gave everyone plenty of attention and advice which is what you want.

Duncan @ racedynamix contacted us this morning when he saw the figures. Emma is going to change to 99 Momentum as she works at Tescos then Duc will optimise the map at RCM on November 10th. Should see her over 250 with a bit of finger crossing.

With a decat and remap, she should be seeing closer to 270... 240-250 is what I'd expect to see with all the cats in place???

it has a standard TD04, 3 port solenoid, walbro pump and de-cat from the turbo back. Think Duncan was disappointed in the numbers too which is why he rang. Running on 95 really doesnt help but like you say, we were hoping to see around 260/260 minimum.

Hopefully once its running 99 and has been tweeked it should perform better and we appreciate Duncan getting in touch to sort it for Emma.
