as above guys looking to get window tints but not sure how dark to go?

Not the best shot, they look a bit darker then they actually are. Light smoke in the front and dark smoke in the back.

First car I've had tinted, can't recommend it enough. Didn't realise how much it keeps the temp down inside and it's perfect for keeping the sun out for my daughter's eye's in the back

I went for 2nd from darkest when I had mine done think it was dark smoke was about right as limo tint was a bit to dark,

If I remember correctly it goes:

Ultra light smoke (the only one legal to use in the front)
Light Smoke
Dark Smoke
Limo

You remember correctly mate.Had my front tints changed from Dark Smoke to Ultra light smoke today,so i'm now legal.Errr,number plates to change next.lol Oh and best black Hawk Eye i've seen is your car.

I was stopped by police my spec c front light tint he said you should not have any tint at all

From memory, the side fronts have to let 70% natural light through!

Sounds like another copper not knowing the law properly

Windscreen - illegal to do anything. Front passengers Ultralight which is 70% and you're allowed to do anything to the others.

Think on the front it would depend how tinted the factory windows are as ultra light smoke on clear glass would let more light through than on the tinted glass, only the meter they use to measure them would tell accurately. I like the look though with just the rears done

That is sunning . did you spray the intercooler Gold or did it come like that?

Been stopped 4 times by Derbyshire & Leicestershire Police,but was never told to take the tints off.Only changed them for different look.
