full engine rebuild with sti interalls , exedy clutch , lightened flywheel and silicone hoses cant wait til hes done . u had any work done there ?

Yeah just running in a 2.1 rebuild done at API, very good guys, although I never actually met David only spoke to him on the phone a lot. Will more than likely be back to see him soonish to get oil change, little bit of work and a remap.

Ps, the wait is a killer, mine took a while but it started off at a local garage to get fixed.....nightmare.

how long did david have yours ? mine got picked up half hour ago he was a really nice bloke do you have any idea how much he charges for the oil change and remap ? yours ecutek ?

Think it was about 8 weeks (roughly) but when mine went it was dead and didn't know what was needed or what my options were so I waited on the assessment, then took a bit to take further advice and make a choice.

Not to sure on further costs yet, think the Ecutech remap was 550+vat, but don't know the oil change costs.

Well I'm assuming it is, as the guy I bought it off said at the time it was standard.
