Mesh doesn't look right imo.

As above, though, I think newage scoops look wrong on a classic.

When I saw the title I thought you'd removed the mesh Personally I'd remove it totally and I'm also not a fan of the newage sti scoop on classics

ok guys while i accept all the critism and couple of good comments alot of people on here tend to forget 1 thing ITS MY CAR!!! and i will do as i please with it good or bad!!!!
I know that maybe people dont like big scoops on classics or "chicken wire" but i do like it and like it more now as its black and as i said the pictures dont really do it justice it is now almost un-noticable in the daylight.

Cheers

Nick.

What does the chicken wire actually do?

Fair play for doing what you want to do with your car, i completely appreciate it as ive had way too many people telling me what to do lol.......but would still look 10 times better without it IMO

As you say, its your car. As for the mesh, the fact you've painted it black and said its almost un-noticable makes it a pretty pointless mod imo.......

Unless it's VERY securely fixed, striking a bird at any sort of speed will just pull it off
