Yeah he did say something along the lines of **** *** lol.
Been fitting a new volt and water temp gauge over the weekend..
Had to remove part of the centre dash and cut a carbon panel to fit then drill as required.
Fitted at last
There we go all done and back together..
Fitted new foam padding to the cage and gave it a good clean.
New suspension and sound system next i think

Mallory Park - haven't been there since I was a nipper.
I remember seeing an R32 Skyline in a race and no one really knew what it was. Lapped the field a couple of times then packed up.

The uppipe has been welded to the headers, cant see how ill be able to cut this so may need some new headers!
Anyone know how ill cut that off?
If not which headers shall i go for? Decision time

There is no dump valve Edgaras
Gavin,
It's only an EGT sensor that has snapped off. You don't "need it".. although the A-pillar EGT gauge wont work obviously) it's not needed for the general health and well being of the car, only a defi sensor..
I'll weld that back on for you if you like.
Hopefully do a better job this time as well.
Think I probably welded the boss on with mild steel wire onto the stainless up pipe.
Never a good combo (well I suppose about 6 years isn't too bad haha.)

Hi Andy,
Yeah i was going to just get the hole welded up but id be annoyed the EGT gauge was no longer working.
The up-pipe is now shot as i had to cut it off in order to get the headers off the car because its welded to the headers...The headers are fine (but would need the remaining part of the up-pipe cutting off) but i saw these over on 22b and for £330 delivered for a set of brand new RCM headers i Could't resist.
Ive spoken to a few people about these headers and both RCM and Havey have said they dont need porting?
Strange.
Anyway can you port them Andy cus i use a garage for my RX7 stuff and they said they would be able to do them but you know the car etc so id rather you did them.

I think I'll pass the buck to your rx7 guys for the porting.
Grinding stainless is such a ball ache.
Appologies for welding the up pipe solid, I was sick of that joint constantly blowing.
You can get it out in one piece, you just had to jack the engine up a lot first. Never mind, too late now.

Right the time has come to get back to it and sort this thing out, its been sat in the garage for the last 18 months due to splitting with the ex and having no money and all that kinda rubbish!...
It has white-line anti roll bars etc and im just going to replace the drop links and bushes in those to tighten it all back up.
Anyway i need some new suspension, looking to spend under 1k on it so any ideas or recommendations anyone? And ive been out the game for a while so help is really needed
