A perfect day to reflect on a true legend. Good turn out and the weather was perfect, maybe someone was looking down on us

Nice pics Big G.

Anybody know if P18WRC is back in the hands of Prodrive, or was it just there for a re-fit?

I think it was in Evo a couple of months back in a 'drivers car' feature but was in the hands of a private owner who had spent nearly 250k iirc to get it back on the road. I'll have a check tonight to see if it was the same car.

Ok thanks, last info I have is that it re-built by McKinstry Motorsport and was up for sale last year for 85K. Very famous car 97.001, first WRC chassis, was originally P555WRC.

Just wondering if Prodrive bought it back, certainly looks in fine shape.

Hi had a mate check the magazine last night as he's got it at the moment and it was P18 WRC, link to the evo feature:

http://www.evo.co.uk/videos/planetev...s_impreza.html

only a couple of pics on there, not sure about the video as i can't view it at work.

I'll try and get my pics from Saturday posted up tonight

97001 went off to Ireland after being completely rebuilt earlier this year.

Looks like 97.001 even got a new chassis plate in the rebuild.

The car behind you in your second pic is an ex Atkinson car, yours for £220K I believe.

Cheers for your comments people.
It was a perfect day and I'm sure everyone that went felt the same.
I was gutted that I missed Colins tribute so there was no way I was missing this one.

Oh and does anyone have a spare £220k?
