Default Black Wheels :D

well after owning the scoob for just under a month i decided i didnt like the look of the gold wheels

so i painted them black




whats yah think? other mods so far is tinted windows and stereo upgrade.

Looks like you did a great job mate

I have got black wheels as well but could do with a refurb. Ideally want to get the re-done in high gloss black.

i need to give them a good polish.. in a few days just waiting for the lacquer to harden fully they had 4 coats of lacquer lol

every car ive had in the last 3 yrs has had black wheels... the mrs thinks i have a slight obsession lol

Hehe same here. Every car. Although on my first ever car they were only black cos I lost the hubcaps hehe

thanks

i sanded them down to bare metal then filler primered them then i had 2 litres of high gloss black 2pac paint left over from a bit of practice work i did ages ago then i laquered them with 4 light coats

i like it mate used to love gold but since having the p1 much prefer grey/black wheels.

did you use wet + dry sandpaper and what filler primer did you use?

thanks guys

only just got in from work i hate mondays

i tried to get back into college this year to do my level 3 cirtificate in spraying, but didnt get in as course was full

id love to spray bits for cars all day long :P just time atm is scarse
