Default 08 Hatch, think I can stop spending now!

Well after owning my hatch for just over a year I have finally got it to a point where I'm happy, a few choice (must haves for a hatch) exterior mods and managed to sort out the stance with those huge arches, final couple of touches came this weekend with the addition of new rims and some wind deflectors.

Have told the Mrs that's it, famous last words!!

Must say I am so impressed with the hatch, I know its looks are not to everyones tastes but is just so versatile, I can drop my daughter to nursary in the week, shoot to the tip one weekend, fold the seats down and pop a fridge in the boot the next and still have a fun daily drive with 300+ bhp on tap and then pop it into cruise on the motorway and get 30mpg.

Anyways heres a couple pics of the day I collected her and some from this weekend, hope you like.

Cheers
A

I'm really impressed with that +35 ET "flat faced" wheel look.

Just hoping the BBS split rims look as tidy on the same offset

I think you'd love an S204 or an R205 you could of had either with the amount of money you've spent on yours!

Pretty basic really, Prodrive springs, fast road prodrive Geo setup and 8.5 rims with a +35 offeset, really happy with the result as I've not even had to do anything major to achieve the look I was after, originally thought I'd have to go down the coilover road but managed to get away with springs and wheels.

Cheers

Aaron, I need to get my geo done as I think the potholes have taken their toll on the car lately.

have you got the settings you had done, I have the prodrive settings but there are 3 options on each settings

Hi Mark, Elite near you did mine and I think they have the settings stored in their system, when they did mine they got as close as they could to the middle numbers quoted by Prodrive.

I think the min and max numbers are the extreams they can go to either side but the middle are the recommended to save excessive tyre wear etc.

Cheers

The Prodrive springs really give it a nice stance, didn't think they would make that difference but it looks spot on!

Cheers Tony, I was not that impressed at all with the drop of the Prodrive springs until I fitted the new offset rims, here is a side on pic with PD springs on the old rims, looks preety much standard!

The offset does seem to make a difference, i have the wheels you used to have so it would definitely need some CDF spacers i think

CDF is the way to go I think, interested to see what Kyle's look like once fitted. Once I had the geo done on mine with the 330 rims and PD springs they looked pretty good just a litlle too sunk in for my liking!

Here's one of my fav shots, camber looked great but made the top of the wheel sit in even further.
