Why the hell would anyone destroy an icon like that??
Just get a type r instead!
Im not saying that people shouldnt enhance the engine for better performance but that os just a complete waste of what was an awsome car as standard

That is surely 'use'; but to completely strip and remove all vestige of what a 22B is is a waste imho.

Sorry but I have to agree with this, fact that the purchace price would be around 15k cheaper for the type r. Why do it to one of the 400 made seems madness to me, all up for owners to tweak the engine and brakes but to rip it to bits repaint it seems mad but hey as said each to their own maybe it started life as a shell bought from prodrive.

i must say that it seems big waste as there is probably nothing left of the original car so as others have said why not use a type r. it also wouldn't be so bad if it still looked slightly like a 22b but it looks like a hyundai with a very bad 22b body kit.

I think the Subaru is new car for hillclimbing in 2010.
Up to 2010 this is/was one of the cars he used:
Times from the first outing at Loton Park of the weekend 15th/16th May:
Class C (iv) Mofidied Limited Production Sports Cars over 2000cc
Andy Tomkins/Porsche 911 Targa/3200 cc
Run 1 65.23 seconds
Run 2 65.25 seconds
Keith Edwards/Subaru 22B/2100t cc
Run 1 57.82 seconds
Run 2 58.04 seconds
Mick Harriman/Audi Quattro Sport/2144t cc
Run 1 55.08 seconds (new record)
Run 2 55.86 seconds

This 22b doesn't do it for me as its gone too far from looking like a road going 22b.Colour is wrong but it does serve a purpose for the owner and driver and that is to race.
Audi is awesome...
