Default My Subaru type r (work in progress)

Hi everyone, here is my pride and joy my subaru type r just had a full engine rebuild and full respray. Just putting it back together now
Let me know what you think will be uploading more pictures in the next few days

il post up the spec tomorrow has had alot spent on.im in need of face lift bonnet and facelift front bumper if you can help me

Looks stunning The motor looks to be a cleaned-up version 1-2 motor and I can't see the dccd switch in the picture. Is this a conversion?

hi its a closed deck motor with all the goodies in but your rite not seeing the dccd as i got it as a rolling shell and this was missing,as was running 6 speed,and 475 bhp now is roughly 350ish till i get it done and on rollers,but as said ant just a painted up engine

il get some more tomoz hopefully,got to fit the rest of the cusco rollcage yet but waiting as need bonnet and bumper then spray them altogether.its had a full respray in the new focus rs white as wanted brighter all underneath is full of whiteline goodies anti lift roll bars drop links ect,coilovers ,got the front brembos,need the back ones so on the look outbirthday soon so on the look out for goodies

im also looking to changing the seats to the blue sti seats out of the newer scoob how much do you reckon i can get a set for?

Looking good.

Is it not a pain with the wiring looms? (fitting v 1/2 engine into v3) What ecu are you going to use? Probably making things pretty tricky by using early stuff mixed with v3 surely?

its all running now matt sounds mint ive spent alot on the engine now but all worth it just need to sort all boost pipes and vac pipes the engine was painted in a darker silver and the rocker cover and inlet in a kandy apple red perl,alternater done in alloy paint got the samco blue hose kit on way so will look even better as for wiring loom im not sure as new to these as was escort cosworth man

great stuff mate did you rebuild bottom end or use what i sold you??it looks mint your doing great job your alot further with urs than i am mine bud...and if you can work on a cosworth you sure can work on these there a doddle mate
