MY OLD UK CLASSIC TURBO
was looking through some old pics on the pc and found these, my first scooby, a 99 dbm uk turbo. loved this car, had a great spec when i bought it which was
1. leda coilovers
2. hi spec big brake conversion
3. full h&s decat system
4. 17" subaru alloys
when i bought it i fitted four brand new toyo tyres as the tyres were pretty worn, then i sourced a prodrive quickshift, then a prodrive gearknob. i then managed to get hold of the scott lowe prodrive mudflaps off somebody on here. then also on here i bought a set of ported and wrapped headers and matched and wrapped up pipe. then i popped down the road to see andy forrest (i stay in edinburgh so very handy!) who mapped the car with ecutek remap, made such a difference to the power of the car, was running around the 280bhp mark and very responsive.
now on the look out for another mint classic as i miss the car so much, had to sell unfortunatley as my wife and i had another baby and she was off work for a long time and i simply needed the money.

yep was my pride and joy. had 40k on the clock when i bought it, seeing it driving away down the road after i sold it was hard, and it sounded so good!! yes there are still lots of nice ones around and seen a few up for sale but wasnt the right time for me. know of a mint sonic blue uk turbo less than mile away from me that is coming up for sale in the spring. guy used to work beside me in his 40's hes had it for 6 years and has some great mods but looks standard so hopefully next year ill be back in a scoob.
