I have mounted mine under the bonnet, passenger side at the rear just in front of the removed air con pipes. No pics at the moment but I will try and get some.

In answer to the breather question, no the 4 pipes are return to tank, return to swirl pot from regulator, and feed in and feed out.

Isnt it a bit dodgy putting the swirl pot cool etc in the front of a car engine bay where its most likely to suffer damage in an off/accident?

A bit like having the fuel tank at the back ... depends which part of the car you crash.

Simple - dont crash

nicely Duncan, very cool setup

whats the logic behind a fuel cooler then, does cooler fuel make more bang? very trick! how did you know when to fit one?

TA at Snetterton in october 2008 and my car started leaning out massively because the fuel got warm (well hot actually) because pushing too much pressure through the pump. Hot fuel expands and effectively leans out the mixture.

The fuel cooler has done a perfect job at sorting that small issue out. Just fitted it in the return to the swirl pot from the fuel regulator.

Swirl pot, pump and filter all mounted in the engine bay.

Pot is in the background, if you squint, you can make it out. Pump and filter in a separate cradle. The pot is fed from a Walboro 255 intank mounted pump.

100 quid all in, inc pump.

It banished my trackday issues with anything under half a tank......
