Default Hella FF1000 Driving Lights & Horns Fitted

UPDATED OUPUT SHOTS WITH A DECENT CAMERA

Thought I'd just share a few pics of a couple of additions this week.
Its seriuosly like driving with a daylight button.
And if anything or anyone is in the road.... if they haven't been instantly vapourized by the light I can now deafen them too

I'll get some night shots up as soon as I can.
ps. may have retrofitted a HID kit into the Hellas for good measure

That is a great set-up. Also if a car coming in the opposite has not dipped their lights, they soon will now

BTW, I really like your projectors as they look OEM. I have seen the thread in projects and the light output is better than what is on my Xenon HID Volvo S60R.

Thanks Scooby_Mad, the projectors are seriously worth every penny. And the light output is soooo white, not yellowy like in the photos.
And the cut off is razor sharp. I was in coming up to a round about the other night and my lights were illuminating the chevrons up White and blue from about 150 yrds away, the beam went past 4 cars that were in front of me and lit up the sign... Nice and all that with no dazzle for other drivers
I'll have to have a fiddle with camera settings and get the White balance right.

Hi Dunx matey, the red paint is a long story..... after spraying them with 4 different types of paint and lacquers I finally got a finish I was happy with, I then set about fitting them to the car. The top of the hellas actually touch the bumper and so the paint got damaged while fitting, plus when I clipped on the super tight lens protectors they took the paint clean off
So I set about stripping the paint and wet sanding with 1200 grit till they were like new, so much for trying to be clever.

Window: waiting for a nice scoobynetter to let me have his window lifter of his type r once he's stripped it.

Matt6666: for all who want Supertones and any Hella products for that matter, I bought mine from Susquehanna MotorSports (Susquehanna Motorsports).

Hope that helps

No their site isn't set up for International shipping costs. I think the shipping was around $35 for 2 sets of Horns. My shipping was a lot more than that due to having lights and other goodies.

Just drop them an email and ask.

Did you get stung for import duties/taxes at this end?

Just looking into this, should just be VAT at 15% on the value of the goods and shipping. As it's under £120 you don't have to pay Customs duty. Gifts under £36 are exempt.

So even if you get stung it shouldn't be too much

Yup definitely did get stung.....and the customs dudes showed no respect in opening the boxes either. Ripped them to shreds and then threw some cellotape on to hold the tattered carboard together....... not impressed.

I was at Nostell for the FordRS show and mine filled two football pitches.

I know what you're saying mate, but its really difficult to get the camera to replicate what you actually see, if that makes sense.

If any camera boffs out there can advise on what settings I need to be using I'll give em a go.
On Thursday I will be out with the works camera which is a Canon EOS 20D.

Maybe mouting and using a video camera may be a solution
2 football pitches pah, we need evidence Dunxy!!

Thanks for your comments mate. All you should need to know about the projectors is in this thread and my How-To Guide.

https://www.scoobynet.com/technical-...how-guide.html

All the info on what & where to buy is on the second page of the guide.

Hope that helps, if you need anymore info just let me know.
