My New Flocked Dash and OMP Steering Wheel
Whilst the sun came out today i took the oppotunity to take a few pics of my newly fitted OMP WRC steering wheel, 350mm with 70mm dish, and my flocked dash.
Flocking done by Thomas And Vines ( Thomas & Vines Ltd - UK's premier electrostatic flock coating company ). The same 0.75mm 3.3dtex black flock as colin mcraes dashboards done by the same person. Thats my claim to fame for my scoob. lol.
the pics are crap but you will get the idea. The flock looks purely superb when the sun hits it. Parts flocked were :- dashboard, passenger airbag cover, centre console, dial cluster surround, upper and lower steering column covers and the trim piece under the windscreen.
The steering boss is a Works Bell item from japan. many thanks to FMP for the link.
look forward to seeing your comments

looks good mate, but as said i would get the lower parts done as well as they look a little out of place imo, also i would consider getting the pod done as well so it is the whole package, but just my opinion

Looks great that mate. I have to agree with your choice of just doing the top half of the dash. In my opinion it wouldn't have looked as good if you'd have done it all.......then where do you stop, handbrake surround? door cards?

very nice
also keen on knowing how much this cost - my morning commute is eastbound so i get the sun glaring off the dash every day, and of course the suns moved round for the westbound drive home too

you might get it cheaper but for me it was perfect. i didnt have to send them via courier as the flockers, are only 2 minutes drive from my house so it was soooooo soooooo handy. the quality of work is amazing and as i have mentioned it is the same 0.75mm 3.3dtex black flock as colin mcrae's dashboards flocked by the same hands.
