Default Its been a while

Just though I'd post a few pics on what I've been working on since parting with the Type R and buying a house . . .

Say a quick hello aswell, its been a while, I do visit, just dont post

Just about to start building the 2 litre zetec turbo lump for it, aiming for 300bhp give or take, once again running Adaptronics like as used on the Type R

My dad used to have a 1.6i in red. Loved it.

Love the look of yours. 90 spec front bumper, saff 4wd cossie spoiler and rear lights are nice touches.

Its gotta be right . . . Always had Orions before my 2 Imprezas, just never had a Orion Turbo, so thought I'd build a minter, show and go

Would still come back to a Impreza, might be a couple of years away though

Looks tidy. That takes me back, nearly had a 1.6 Ghia years ago, cheaper to insure than an XR3i but the same motor

Spring time it'll be getting a map tweak with a boost increase.
I've got a fancy manifold to fit to it, just needs wrapping before it goes on.

I've also got a Focus RS gearbox setup to fit to it at some stage, all parts are sat here for conversion. But I need to take engine and box out to modify box mount and repaint where needed around new mount.

Not just yet, getting married in May.

I'm happy with the Orion, its never going anywhere, its a keeper.
Its very quick, if anything bloody dangerous lol.
Big bhp and fwd is a stupid idea...
I do really miss the way the Type R put the power down.

Still I just enjoy the Orion on nice days, it'll only get better spec wise.
The misses still has her A3 for nice days and I have a Vectra cdti for daily duties. ( She has the vectra for daily duties, I have my push bike )
