thanks to everyone for the great feedback, it is the one from litchfields and is a totally different kind of car to my old classic, alot more refined and no lag or bog down due presumably to the mass of torque.
still trying to think of ways to keep my classic cos i know i will miss the no thrills aspect of it

sorry, i have been trying to buy a new motor for around 5months and the best ones come along rarely and sell very quickly. tell him to keep trying and good things come to those who wait
