fitted fmic today also whats this plug?
hi every one fitted my fmic today didnt find it to bad hardest bit was cutting bumper out but its damaged at the moment so thought i would fit fmic and then repair bumper after all the cutting has been done i bought my fmic second hand well the pipe work second hand in very poor condition and repaired and painted them and on one of the pipes its had a plug modified init does anyone know what this is also i painted pipes white but i now thinking i may change to black please give your views and any help on the plug would be great

funny you should say that when i was fitting it the pipes looked brown buy the time i was finished thats why im thinking maybe black now the reason i done white is that i have white wheels maybe bad idea

looks the mutts though stand oot if it wis black ud no see as much and wen u open bonnet ya wanna be seein it that why silver stickes oot and looks shiny,but if u could keep white clean i`d leave as is neva seen coloured fmic pipes afore

Tommy - im liking the Painted pipes pal!
I see this a couple of weeks back on somebody's Nissan and it was done really well.
Ive got my engine out and painting bits allover ATM. What paint/primer did you use? Aerosol or brush Paint?

hi mate i used aerosol but you have to make sure u sand pipes propley cause when you have painted any little marks show also what colour you going for also what else you painting?

Painted inlet
Will be doing other little bits, but really wanted to paint the pipes too. I was thinking powder coated but not sure on cost. What primer did you use mate? Im thinking silver/anthracite just to tidy it up. Dont want too many colours going on. My pipes are a bit of a state too!
