My freshly painted 4 pots
Finally got my backside into gear, my miserable brakes were in desperate need of a facelift.
Before:
Saturday:
Nipped down to halfords to get some high temp paint and a skinny paint brush, then over to focus for a wire thingy to go in my drill so I could clean the callipers.
Wheels off, brake pads out and the bits that i didn't want to get paint over were masked up. I gave them a coat of paint, waited an hour then gave them another coat. Wheels back on.
Monday:
I gave it 48 hours to harden a bit then whipped the wheels and pads off again then masked up and gave them the final coat. Wheels back on.
Tuesday:
This was the letter painting day, I had a few options available to apply the white paint to the embossed Subaru lettering (This thread)
As I was fed up of taking the wheels on and off I decided to make my own device so I could just poke it through the wheel
An M8x40 hex head bolt with a hard piece of foam glued on was just the trick
The end result:
Just got to do the rear ones now.

I did consider using half a potatoe as a dabber!
The wheels are Racinghart CP-035, they were on there when it was imported. Discontinued now as I tryed to get a spare from Envy performance. The guy there said they were nearly £600 quid a rim when they were in stock!
Rota do a copy of them called Subzero. Subzero - ROTA Wheels
