Nice cars. Do you still have the cossie? It's just that it's for sale on the RSOC, and if I'm not mistaken is that the cossie that gets chased by a load of scoobys in a video on youtube. Geek alert lol

I know you've only had it a short time but can you post some thoughts of the differences between the RB5 and Type R.

I've had a UK car and not sure whether to stick to another saloon or go for the Type R.

type r is in a different league better handling more responsive and got so much more spec to start with.
I dont know where to start they really are two different cars.

Lovely cars, I was pricing up Escort Cossies the other week, but for a 13-14 year old car they are so pricey.

Totally over-priced, and in standard form shockingly poor performance imo, mine was running 300bhp and felt slow.. i guess they hold there money cus of there rarity now and nice examples will always hold strong money, rather have an RS500 though.. i loved every minuete of my 3door cossie, mind you 500bhp helped with RWD...

Cossie was lovely bit more more comfortable than the scoob and i prefered the handling to my rb5 which had way to much under steer.
type r is a lot better though you can even get the **** end out like the cossie.
Cossie's will hold there money but its keeping one in good condition that i found hard i had lots go wrong and a lot of parts can be hard to get and expensive aswell.
My old car is forsale again for a grand more than i sold it for 4 years ago but i hate to think what its had spent onit inbetween.

Got a bit planned for the type r
fit the correct grill along with a v6 front splitter and paint the morrettes
18" pff7's in gun metal to go over my sti8 brembo's(painted silver)
crystal side lights.
have the intercooler pipes powder coated(as there just hand painted)
new steering wheel gear **** and mats

Ive already chaged the plugs and given her a oil and filter change just waiting for my magnecor leads to turn up.
