Default your thoughts on few mods

so ive been thinking what i can do to the scoob for a low budget but high impact. im toying with the idea of buying some carbon fibre vinyl and doing my front fog covers, middle part of lowwer air intake on the front bumper and the top blade of the rear spoiler. also thought about possibly doing the roof?and if theres any left over maybe a few bits in the engine bay like fuse cover ect. just wondered if anybody else had done anything like this or just everyones thoughts really. heres some pics of it at the moment.

I think the stick on carbon will look exactly that - stuck on.

What about some solid coloured vinyl or as above paint. Pick a colour to match your wheels - graphite.

Its what I'm doing with a full rally decal set.

Faux carbon is a bit naff isn't it ? If you can't stretch to the real thing for the right reasons, just leave it alone IMHO or you'll end up on Barryboys getting laughed at. Also, I find the carbon vinyl very tricky to apply to anything but pretty flat surfaces as it's quite rigid. Getting it looking good on a very complex contoured surface will be difficult to impossible IMHO.

There is a solution whereby you can 'dip' small items in a carbon look liquid (yes really). There was a thread on here a while back.
