Heres mine. I made rotated up and down pipes with stock subaru flanges to fit my md321 t.

Tim , whats the gt40/30 like ???? I have a gt35r but I'm always curious on a better turbo

Steve, I wish I knew, when I got the car running finally in October it ran all of 500 miles before the head gaskets failed (I made an error, skimping on a set of gaskets when I changed the pistons). I've not yet had the chance to get the car on boost...yet
It'll be a lively bugger though
Beef, the heat shield is aluminium sheet with foil backed glass wool heat blanket glued/riveted to it I've used an extruded rubber flap seal (for want of a better description) to seal the airbox against the bonnet

It's a honey. Not too much lag (for it's size) and will hold max boost all the way through to 8k.

The turbo has changed since then and so has the samco hose, that was when I had a gt3076

There are alot to benifits with having a rotated turbos. choice over the turbo size is the biggest. dont forget there was not alot of choice for std postion turbos when people started going rotated but now we are seeing std position turbos making around 500bhp which is fine for most drivers.
