Default My Frosty Version3 Type R 555 Edition

Well after picking the car up from API yesterday and Bob;s mapping i can,t get enough of it, i,ve blown about £50 in fuel today alone..

Had the FMIC fitted, Fuel Pump, Manifold, Induc Kit, Map etc and to say i,m over the moon is an understatement.

The wheel isn,t scuffed it,s the camera flash..

Anyhow here,s some pics i took today.. JUST A FEW...

Hope you like, i think the first pic is awesome even if i do say so myself, infact it,s my wallpaper now, as usual, click on pic to enlarge it.......

Just a few then....

Very nice, engine bay looks excellent

Reckon you should ditch the rear fog light though, get an LED red bulb off ebay and wire the wires form the switch into the offside reverse light bulb (fitted with red bulb) in the rear clusters.

Paul,

Just pulls & pulls now mate, minimal lag tbh, i,d say if there was, the Induction Kit sounds fantastic, like a big kid i am now..

James,

I,ll get the Fog light sorted in the New Year now, it,s on my to do list, i,m just enjoying it TOO much at the moment.. covered in Salt though...

I'd like to get out in a 350bhp Type R, I bet it's a good mover Does it get a bit lairy at the rear now?

I've only ever driven a couple of standard ones, had a V4 a while back and it went really well for a std car.

Cheers for the nice comments all, appreciated.

James,

Yes mate it caught me out a few times today mate 350 in a classic is quite a tricky car imo, how they have 500+ in them i,ll never know..

The flames are nice now too..

No @ the fly, BUT it,s plenty of fun trust me, it,s running on Motec M800 ecu, peaking @ 1.6 bar..

Funny really, my Evo was 460bhp and yet this feels quicker, you,re at 120mph very quickly.. i guess like said, it,s cus it,s SO light compared to my Evo 8 MR was, thye,re 1420kg, so it,s like another 25stone person..

Luke,

Nothing planned for another month or two..

Can understand this, gone from a 450ish UK Turbo to a 330ish Type R and there isn't a huge difference (until u get to high speeds) mainly down to the gearing of the Type R i think.

Cars looking good BTW

Dean,

That,s VERY true, my Evo obviously from 120mph onwards would of come into it,s own, BUT high speeds don,t bother me tbh, it,s the getting to 120 quickly i prefer..

Mark who had this car from new did a 12.3 quarter @ 110.9 mph so it isn,t shy and it has abit more power now too..

Thanks for the comments all......
