Blob Eye Black headlight mod Images
Any pictures of the black headlight mod on the blob eye?
I'm gonna attempt the d'tango on friday so was also considering the black headlight mod at the same time but still not sure, I have a silver 05 sti.
I have found the guide on how to d'tango but can't seem to find anything that advises me on how to perform the black headlight mod (prep, what paint to use etc).
Any advice would be great, thanks in advance.

Currenty looking at mine waiting for the new silicone to dry, would have fitted them today but for that I haven't went for the black headlight mod though as I think on WR blue they look better in silver shame as I have loads of paint left from my gauge pod lol
PS if anybody is attempting this.....I don't recomend it in -4 degrees like it was for me today!!!!! Brass monkeys......

Did anybody else find the lights a complete beeatch to get out? Not only to get them out, but also to remove the electrical conectors at the bottom? My poor fingers

I used the oven on mine, set very low (gas mark 2 or 3) & kept checking to see if it was loose, took about ten minutes. And for anybody who is interested, no black light mod..... (Wrong thread?)
Debadging sounds pretty easy Morpheus from what I have read - remove grille, cut the plastic holding the badge out and fill any holes left, rub down with fine wet and dry, then paint. Obviously I haven't done this mod so find out off somebody who has for sure
