Default Coilovers on... 93 WRX

I'm getting a little rubbing on the driver side front wheel, the camber setting may sort this out, if not i'll look into it. will get the alignment done after Christmas now:

Pic is from the phone so not great quality.

I dropped it about 20mm extra when i fitted them. Compared to the previous H&R springs.

It does look agressive now, what do you think?

Dave

PS. Merry Christmas everyone

If that's 20mm lower than H&R your rubbing the ground there.... no kerb or speed bump issues ?

You might even have to roll the front arches a little, depending on how much it rubs. But as mentioned earlier i would also get the geometry sorted before i started rolling arches.

Cheers for the comments chaps, the rear camber is still set to the centre point on the top mounts, and i dont think its adjustable on the car its self, so should be about right, but it will all get checked when i get them to do the geometry.

I am thinking of this:

FRONT

camber left 1.25
right 1.25

toe left 0.03
right 0.03

castor left 3.15
right 3.15
(not adjustable anyway i think)

REAR

camber 1.30 both

toe 0.03 both

I am actually going to change the bumper as its a little to "soft" i have a stanard bumper with splitter to go on.

My driveway is quite steep, the pavment clicmb up to where my drive starts then the drive plunges down and i can get into it with minimal scraping!

Cheers

Dave

Far to low. It won't do anything for the handling - make it worse if anything. I dread to think what the drive shaft and track rod angles are like.

If you want to sell your front bumper, PM me, my TommyKaira is showing serious signs of wear and tear.

Far better handling along with the arb / drop links i fitted before, about the same height as my brothers, both handle like they are on rails, i hope to get it on the track this year.

If things break / wear out i replace them, thats why i have a car like this, its my hobbie.
