Please post your 08 WRX STI pictures..
I am new here on Scoobynet and I reside in the US, But can I request pictures of your UK new generation 5 door WRX STI's ? I 'd love to see them. The 5dr Impreza got a really cold reception here at first but most are warming up to it now...Including myself Thanks.
Oh...Here's my WRB /Gold US spec. 2008 STI as a starter...Thanks in advance

^^^ Nice..Black with Gold BBS ~ Yum.
I convinced a mate of mine down in Florida to get a new STI as he was replacing his BMW 330. He got Obsidian Black but couldn't find one with Goldie's though. Thanks for posting those..

[QUOTE=mickp;8294457]Here's mine
^^^ Wow ! Small world... I was just in England in June and we visited Chatsworth house... I was thinking how brilliant my 08' STI would have been driving around those twisty Derbyshire roads...Yes probably a bit more enjoyable than my Renault Migrane ? automatic Manchester airport Enterprise rental car Thanks for posting...Nice Scoobe.

[QUOTE=Scoobyhatch;8293500]Black looks awsome , I opted for silver, just for a change . Was a dull day when my photos were taken though!
^^ Nice...Silver really shows the sharp lines well on the STI.
I see your U.K Spec cars get headlight washers, do you also get heated seats..we get neither here on U.S cars which I was thinking was a shame the other morning when it was 24F on my drive to work...

Yes, U.S spec STI's have Xenon as standard equipment, but no headlight washers even as a cost option, also no heated seats or even the cool start button I see on Euro and JDM spec cars.

It is indeed Chatsworth is only 30 mins away from me and there are some great roads on the way over.
One downside to the UK Hatch is that there are not many Aftermarket parts availible over here. Always on the U.S sites looking for bits. Bought some Rally Armour flaps, carbon pillar trims and rear light overlays from over there

My girlfriend fell in love with Derbyshire and ,well, the whole country...Of course we both put on about ten pounds in ten days of bed and breakfast stay overs and of plenty of "proper" beer
I hope you post up the pictures of the carbon pillar trims if they are installed yet, saw your rally armors.. I have them too.
I am stage 2 COBB ( basically an ECU map and 3'' bellmouth downpipe with 1 race cat ) and the car is transformed over stock ( almost 100 lb's of torque increase ) so keep an eye open for the after market.
Hey, maybe next time we are over in the UK ,I'll loan you my Airport Rent-a-dent and borrow your Scooby....

Do you get a push start button on the UK STI? Had a test drive in one yesterday and cant say I noticed it.
Must admit they look a lot better in the flesh.

Thanks for that. Confirms my eyesight is not that bad Deffo liking the '08 STI UK in White - very tasty
Only thing I didnt like was the lack of sound. I know with the equal length manifold the sound is never gonna be the same as my '00 turbo but are there any decent exhaust kits available in the UK (a soundbite would be even better )?

Btw you dont have and soundbites archived away do you?
I watched the Top Gear & 5th Gear STI vs Evo X shows on YouTube and it makes you realise how stupid and uninformative their track tests are when you actually in the market to buy a car.
