Not a scoob but thought id share...
Having owned 2 scoobs, i moved over to the darker side earlier this year...
Just finished off under the bonnet, I know its not a scoob, but I still post here and respect the marque, maybe a nice spec c will be mine one day
Making 410bhp with 390lbs of torque, full boost (1.8b) at around 3.5k revs and holds til 6.5k - full complement of torque at 4k
All in all, very happy, has a real nice rally car sound on full chat/
Cheers for looking

Around £1800 mate, mapping, fitting cams, turbo housing, 3" elbow, FPR, inc buying the parts too. Not too bad...its the next step...ie stroker or forging that will cripple me

Thats awesome Jimmy Engine bay looks lovely in blue. I would love one and thought about a VII or IX before getting mine but was put off by the servicing and extra insurance for me.
BTW I remember seeing your scooby on here that was also one sweet ride
I am also green

They are 18" Kei racing rims mate, finished with some Ray's lighweight lugs in black
Just want to say a thanks for all the positive comments, its nice to be able to appreciate each other marques without any childish digs.
I think, the plan is to keep this a few years and then see what the Spec C's are costing, I think thats the car Id like to come back over for
The Evo's are quite different to Scoobs but get lumped into the rivalry thign I reckon because of their rallying background, regardless, im a big fan of both and my head still always gets turned by a nice Scoob if I see one
Would just like to say, my frined from York did all the hardpiping in the engine bay and dress up, turbo induction and filter, he also does battery re-location packs into the boot, like he did on mine to free up bonet space. Anyone interested in bespoke alloy pipework or battery re-location kits etc gimme a PM
