Got it a VERY good price.

£22,495 was the usual cost, but they were doing a September deal at £20k, although this one being already registered, we got another "discount".

Cheers fella's.

Biggest surprise is the torque tbh. It's only 10ish lbs ft off the STi and with 250hp, it goes well for it.

Many thanks guys.

By the looks of it, we should have got some sort of STi front lip spoiler on it too, so will speak to the dealer soon.

Should look like this...

It isn't like the classic to drive no, but the classic's design is circa 20 years old now.

It still feel's like a scoob to drive and this WRX-S with torque nearly the same as the STi(but without the cost) and being 110kgs LIGHTER than the STi, both power to weight added together with the lbs ft, it goes VERY well for the cost.

So this WRX-S is a good option to think about before buying the Stock STi hatch.

Exactly fella!

WRX ~ STI ~ WRX-S

Weight(kgs) 1395 1505 1395
Power(hp) 227 296 251
Torque(lbs ft) 236 300 288
PtoWratio(per ton)165 200 183

And in a torque to weight conversion, the WRX-S is higher than the STI, by roughly 6 lbs ft.

STI costs a good few grand more though.

gorgeous from the front, suspect at the back, think it's the 3 paned glass. Would look spot on with 2 panels.
