At least the damage was mostly superficial and it didn't ruin the day

It looked to be going really well and it looked great flaming out of both exhaust pipes on over run into clearways

god i need to win the lottery, that gets me buzzing just watching in car vids, doing that must be absolutly brilliant

what a brutal sound to that car aswell (the engine, not the crash by the way!)

Yeah, to get my best result of the year after that incident was brilliant. Did wonder what people would think of the exhaust, marmite i think, but it served its purpose.

Steve, i wasnt even trying during warm up , just starting to remember lines etc, and i lost concentration for a split second, and paid the price!

Hoskib, yeah the buzz is great, but its an expensive buzz!

As a wagon squadron member i watch your progress Sunday with interest, you did seem to be going very well and the exhaust sound incar was very aggressive but from the outside it didn't seem so it was the orange scooby that had the weirdest sounding exhaust which i could never get used to, well done for getting your best result of the year and may it continue

The exhaust was knocked up by me and David Wallis on Thursday night and stands me at just over £100, which is great considering it has matched the flow of the old back box, but dropped the noise at 5000rpm by nearly 6db!

It certainly heated the concrete around the dyno at Zen the day before
