My TOTB VII pics
Went up to elvington Raceway Yesterday for Redlines Ten of the Best VII, We were there with Vauxsport and team Vauxhall competeing in the FWD class and I`m proud to say we kicked ***! Speckys Tigra won the FWD 1/4 mile and Top Speed, with times of 11.6@138mph and 169mph after a standaing Kilometer!!! Not only that but the top pseed put him 9th overall, scoring an overall TOTB point, something never before done by a car in the FWD class in any event! I was also secretly supporting Team Subaru who also completely kicked *** in the Overall event, Big Congrats to Olly Clark from RCMS and Paul form Zen Performance, getting 1st and 3rd overall, nice one guys!!
Thouroughly enjoyed my day at Elvington once again, Getting pics is quite awkward becasue of the crowds and barriers etc, The Only downer to the weekend was an unfortunate Engine fire Saturday nigth, making a mess of a team mebers nova. He took it really well and thanks to some fast acting from him and our Team manger, hopefully the car will be back better than ever. Anyways heres the best of what photos I managed to get:
Team GAZ`D, impresive showing as always, consistant 11.8`s:
Lightning McQueen? - CaaChow!:
So fast it knocked OP(Our photographer) over!:
Nutty Granada 7.0 V8 supercharged:
The Ghost of what might have been, Burnt out Novas Nitrous controller:
Roger Clarkes Scoob, won the event overall for a second year running, 9.2sec 1/4, 196mph aftr 1km and 2nd overall on the handeling:
OP`s astra and Our Astra in the pitlane:
Paul Blamire and the Zen Scooby, Had no idea Paul was posing for this one till I looked at the phots later!
Renton in the Redline Skylne:
Speckys inasne Tigra (Nice to meet this chap, really down to earth, with his mother there for support!) On his 169mph run!:
Pep talk from our fearless leader:
Obligatory totty shot:
Managed to say hello to SteveBT, gorgeous car, an nice chap. Also managed to forget to get a picture of it though!
This was gorgeous and has convinced me black is the right colour for my wheels:
See Liz pushing the Zen car....

Dspeed - yeah the corsa is still FWD and still no turbo to be found, and yet manages 11.8 1/4`s
