Thanks guys. I'm very chuffed with it. Just got to wait for the brakes to turn up then have them fitted and I'll be happy, well, for a little while!

Copycat! I fitted some gold(!) MY01 17s to my wagon last week. Only got the Prodrive splitter and STi rear wings to paint n fit now.
Still getting used to gold wheels on a silver car.
Markus, looks good, does your car have aftermarket suspension/springs. It seems to sit lower than mine (but then again my one is a UK model).

BlackStar,
Yup it's lowered, but by the man in japan, not by me, It has Bridgestone Potenza Damper for Street Limited Edition suspension, which is low n hard, makes for interesting times with the huge exhaust when speed bumps loom.
As for mods, well, here goes (full list here
HKS Super Power Flow Induction Kit
Cusco/STi competition front strut brace
Cusco Power Brake support bracket
BPM Twindump Downpipe
Apexi N1 center section (3") and backbox (4")Bridgestone Potenza Damper for Street Limited Edition suspension
Morette Quad headlams + Phillips Vision Plus bulbs
MY01 17 inch wheels + Toyo Proxes T1-S (215/40/ZR17)
salsa-king smilie stickers
umm, think that's it.

Plus not had time to wash it, plus it's been raining! it will get washed, polished and loved pretty soon. probably after the brakes go on.

Tony, no probs mate, will let you know.
the 16's were toyos as well and they were great, I don't push things that hard but they always seemed to grip really well in wet or dry. suffice to say that I had no probs on sunday with the old tyres even though there was lying water everywhere.

I rarely step into the members gallery....
Noticed in the steering post that you'd got the wheels you had been talking about on...
Thought I know Markus there must be a pic...
Looking very nice... suits the car perfectly...

Thanks o green one!
coupled with the aforementioned suspension mods it now looks good and corners even better. once the brakes go on it will stop like a bastid as well.

I have recently added wheels off a MY99... not quite in the same league but handling is much improved...
Also got an STi backbox off a P1 which should be on this week..
Weyhay it is no longer standard!

Well you are probably correct...
Got a Dawes style device in the garage waiting to go on, just still cannot find a Boost gauge I am happy with at the right price..
No longer a mod virgin..!
Currently parking in some dodgy areas in Nottingham so glad to keep the mods suttle at the moment.
