Default My New Scoob

Hey guys after an exhausting cleaning day, heres the scoob.

Its a totally Stock Sti Type Uk 2003

Ive got new alloys on order, along with new mats, flaps and de tangoed bulbs. mods to come are head light de tango, and sort out the crap stereo. Also want to sort the supension out, but im unsure about either super streets, or shocks and springs (either eibach, tein, hnr) gonna base this really on how high it sits on the new 18s.

Any advice is welcome .>.> .>. ...

i had 3 runs at japfest the other day, no clue on launches etc, but my best run which had a wicked launch was a 14.2, which im guessing is pretty ****e for an sti, i reckon it needs a service, and the rear shock fixing, as its knocking.

Nice looking clean scoob mate

Time wasnt to bad for a heavy new-age with the 35mph head winds that we had on the day

Looks good, kinda looks stealthy, and was gonna say change the wheels for some 18s but you've already done that so sweet as What wheels did you order.

Plus I know what you mean about the ****e stereo... I mean who the **** still uses cassettes in this day and age and I swear the sound system in a scoob can't even handle bass higher than +2

I wanna get an ipod ready double din...they look the dogs in the dash.

cheers for the comments guys, yer im looking into performance mods, it needs a service doing on it asap, id like to get it to around 350hp, i think thats a happy medium, although i am aware the engines done 70k , so might be a bit risky. i think exhaust/intake/bov, and a re map should be cool.

worried about a 3inch cat back though, due to the sound. ive had bad experiences with super loud exhausts before, there cool for like 5 mins, then just annoy the hell outta me lol , although i want performance.

alot of guys seem to run that ninja back box with 2.5 mid pipe i reckon that should be good enough.

if you dont want everyone in the street to hear you then the ninja cat back is a nice sound or the tsl group N. just dont get a blitz or rcm as they are loud.

Its tango time, i had a day off work, so followed the guide on here. ive done the atual headlight thing before, but the guide was usefull, only problemo's, were the 2 little ****** screws, and the bolts holding the resinator box on sheered off, lol

o well looks like i'll have to get some sort of intake system on it.

the results are great!!! sharpens up the front end, makes the car look newer.

brings me onto my next question, does anyone have super leggas on a blob eye? also if i was to go for an induction kit, (id fit a cold air to the front fog thingy) which induction should i go for? props spend around 200?

id love an injen, but i dont htink they do them for scubs

I like the colour/wheel colour combo, if you are going to change them I would stick with it. Nice motor looks esp with the lights

Wheels on!

18 inovit's, (yer i know everyones got them but they look **** hot) got them in carbon black. wrapped in yoko's prada spec 2's, really cant fault them as tyres.

Bit unhappy with how much i had to weight the tyres, guess thats what you get when you dont buy oz's. still look cool. need to fit mud guards now, but im so confused by the instructions, any one got a guide?

It wont lose you power but will make it a little lumpy during low speed gear changes due to the slight rich condition it creates buy dumping the already metered air.

No you wont lose power, no it wont hurt it but wont be as silky smooth as it is from the factory.

Would suggest a call to polished bliss for some engine degreaser. Or summon SwissTony on here.
