Impreza No1 - Impreza No2!
Just wanted to post some pics of my bugeye I've just sold and my new blobeye. It kind of pisses me off though that I used to get mores reaction from people from my bug than my new one!! Mrs says its cos the other was WR blue and everyone knew it was a Subaru!
My mods will soon change that!!
What do you all think?
My Bug WRX
My Blob WRX

New blob looks very tidy mate but as your mrs said, its the colour what will get the attention! Your old Bug looks very nice, one of the only ones I have seen and liked! What mods you got coming?

Since them pics I've already changed to a Prodrive exhaust. Plan to detango the front and get a Scott Lowe splitter will be the 1st things I do. When they're done I plan to increase BHP slightly maybe up to 250-280.

I like both of those mate.
I agree with the splitter and de-tango on a black WRX, mind you I would say that
I'd consider the HT Autos splitter before buying a Scott Lowe one though mate, they are cheaper and apparently don't crack if you very slowly nudge a gas bottle!

I've been on to the "boffs" and i have an answer!!
It's a proper subaru part. It's what's called an "under spoiler"??
part number - E2410FE000TG
Basically £300 worth of kit. . . .i'll keep on dreaming at that price.
Cheers anyway

I was so lucky with my Bug. It had the OZ alloys, the (£300) splitter and the prodrive lights on it when I bought it. Surely that must be £1500-£2000 of mods I saved on!!
Saying that I've had the same luck with my blob, 18" Speedlines in toyo's covered less than 4,000 miles, Hayward & Scott exhaust and tinted windows. Again saved me a lot of cash!!

Cheers Jimmy.
Would you recommend I find a Ninja backbox? Bought a 2nd hand Prodrive to replace the H&S but that is a bit too quiet for my liking!!

Your bug was lovely and the only reason it got more attension as said before was the colour.
I love the new car. That black wasn't avalible here in Irelnad (we only got the Gold meca black). The Speedlines look beautiful on her! Only thing I'd do is front splitter and Prodrive springs.
Best of luck with it.

Thanks for the great comments guys!!
It seems that most people would agree that WR Blue gets the most attention, but is it the best colour??

WR Blue is defo the most recognisable colour and the one most would associate a scooby with. But imo white is the "best" colour... but then I'm biased
There was a thread on this a while back...

Alright Nath, shame you got rid of it mate but ill be sure to look out for ya in your new one although you will defo be harder to spot, lol.
I was lucky regarding the splitter after seeing yours in the flesh i knew it was the one i wanted and a fellow member from oswestry was selling one so managed to pick it up for 150!! Result.
Imprezive_52 - thats exactly what i thought mate, keep scouring the for sale forums and ebay and you may get lucky!

The black blob ain't bad mate but I'm afraid the missus is right, the blue bug is better and more IMO likely to become a classic
What you SHOULD have done is kept the Bug and spent all your free cash on engine/transmission upgrades..........
Only my biased opinion mate, fair play to ya for keeping the Impreza preference going though.

I didnt say my mrs preferred the bug. All she said was the WR Blue was more noticable.
In fact she likes the shape of the blob a lot, lot more than the bug. Most people I know who have seen it have said the same.
Its funny how people say they prefer your new car when the old one has gone!!

Sir Fozz, I've just looked at your car and believe it or not it was your pictures that inspired me to buy a black blobeye!!
I remember seeing your car about a year ago and thinking it looked amazing.
I couldnt quite afford the sti but here we are, my own black blob!!!
