I really don't get this black bonnet thing????? To me it just looks like the cars been in a crash and had a 2nd hand bonnet put on which hasn't been painted yet....

60's and some 70's cars looked good like that, but that was because they had the shape to pull it off IMO.

Dunno maybe I'm missing something, just like all these chavs running round with go faster Shelby racing stripes on their VW Polo's

 

Have to agree with the above ^^, looks like an old taxi with the black bonnet

 

Could be much better if you colour code the front bumper/bonnet and got rid of the M3 style mirrors. It looks as if you've crashed through a Halfords store at the moment. Get to work and make us,and yourself proud.
