The display is the easy bit. Where is there room to put the sensor on a Hawkeye? The normal mounting point is covered by extra gubbins than earlier cars.
After setting up, I'm going to hide the display away and rely on the alarm.

They 'almost' fit in the vents, but not once you factor the plugs/wires.

I fitted one nr steering wheel. Will get some pics up when I can.

A bit better than a knocklink don't you think?

I mounted my sensor on a boss literally 1" from the OEM sensor.

Ive run the wires through the center and they ciome out by the ashtray and into the display. You can barely see them in the car.

Ive removed my cigarette plug and hard wired the unit to the car.

Not mounted as neatly as Frayz... but then I lack the skills .

Hardwired into the car.

Cracking little device!

Nice install.

I'm going to suggest to them that they change the bright orange wire casing to a black one.

Black wire casing would certainly make it easier to hide/mask.

Just shrink wrap the orange wire with black shrink guys.

Easy enough to do

It's great dealing with a company that listens to its customers.

The KS3 Knock Analysers now come with black cables instead of bright orange to help with neater looking installs.

KS-3 Knock Analyser - Knock Detection System. Complete Kit - Knock Sensor Included.

I can never get the sticky back stuff to last long.

Came off in the heat of summer (the one week of summer we had).

Looking for ideas on a more 'fixed' install.

Ashtray area is currently occupied by a Lambdalink.
