no m8, there is no plastic cover in these
only an orange bulb
the main problem is the access
remove the wheel
peel back the plastic wheel arch liner
reach in and injure your finger tips
nearside is fairly easy but drivers side is a pain
i wonder how much the dealer would charge to replace

Is it just me or are Subaru lamps a pain in the @rse to change?! I have some silvers for the rear lights ....I thought ill do them today, opened the boot: No rear lights! You have to dismantle half the car I think to change a bulb!

then she saw mine with the bumper off and headlight removed
and nearly fell to the floor
jackie is a little over protective of her wagon at the moment
hope she is out when they deliver the front mount
