very nice budgie :thumb: was it an oven job ??

both cars aswell .

frayz 18 May 2008 06:27 PM

Cheers Budgie,

Great job on the lamps BTW :thumb:

Budgie 18 May 2008 06:30 PM

no m8, there is no plastic cover in these
only an orange bulb
the main problem is the access
remove the wheel
peel back the plastic wheel arch liner
reach in and injure your finger tips
nearside is fairly easy but drivers side is a pain
i wonder how much the dealer would charge to replace

Is it just me or are Subaru lamps a pain in the @rse to change?! I have some silvers for the rear lights ....I thought ill do them today, opened the boot: No rear lights! You have to dismantle half the car I think to change a bulb!

there is no way she would let me do that
she had a panic when i pulled the arch liner back
then she saw mine with the bumper off and headlight removed
and nearly fell to the floor
jackie is a little over protective of her wagon at the moment
hope she is out when they deliver the front mount:D
