Ready to Race!
My 2008 hillclimb race car build is now 100% finished and after a bit of fettling today ready to race tomorrow and monday at the famous Shelsley Walsh.
It's still a bit rough around the edges, the paint and bodywork needs tidying up after a few spills last season but the build is finished and that's what matters.

Looks good - similar to mine, just in white.
Are you going to run without a rear wing?
What wheel and tyre size you running?

Yeah, OEM wing does nothing but add weight and no corners over 100mph.
17x7.5 wheel
slick tyres 210/620/17, the 620 is overall dia' instead of profile.

Yep the wing does nothing on a hillclimb. I am the only wingless car in the whole field. You will most likely get a lot of advice from the punters as to why a wing should be on the car.
Would that size be simiar to a 215/45?

They look about 45 profile, I'm too lazy to go and measure.
