Default facelift lights and grill but not bonnet....
Hi guys,

weird request this one.....

im looking to facelift my 93wrx and currently have the lights and the grill should be coming soon.

Basically,

does anyone have a pic/pics of a pre-facelift bonnet with facelift lights and grill..........so I know how quickly I have to get a facelift bonnet

I dont think you can as light shape/bonnet is different.

but I may be wrong and am interested to know whether facelight lights 7 grill can go on without bonnet?

They do fit without the bonnet, all you need to do is cut a small section from the top of the grille so you can access the bonnet release.

I modified my grill to suit the new headlights with some filler and glass matt.

The grill im after is the one that sort of overhangs onto the bumper

It seems that the facelift grills come in two types, flush to the lights and bumper and the one im badly trying to describe above ....one which sticks out a bit onto the bumper.

If you look at the pics the guys have posted on this thread thats the grill im after....sticks out a bit? any ideas what year grill I should be looking at?

Done a bit of digging mate,

the 96-99 cars had a flat grill and 99-00 had your grill ( overhangs a bit)

That makes sense, 99 is when they facelifted the bumper. So they altered the grille as well.

Try this grill, rather pricy though.
